There’s a drive to search Him out
Sometimes it gets confusing
‘Till they know what it’s about
There is this space inside us
That’s meant for holy joy
We sometimes try to fill it though
With our houses, cars or toys
But then we still feel empty
Maybe lonely and discontent
And so the search continues
For job changes, new gals or gents
This emptiness within our hearts--
Life engines (so to speak)
Leave us feeling wanting
What is it that we seek
It must be something more
Than this world could e’er supply
Something that’s so priceless
Not even bricks of gold could buy
Our planet is exceptional
What is it that you see
The beauty of the Redwoods
Or just a big old tree
And what about the seasons
How they know to come and go
Some believe without a doubt
That God made all things so
Maybe it’s not “what” but “who”
That needs to fill those voids
Those whose faith relies on God
Have given witness to His joys
Their attitudes seem different
Once they yield and then accept
The Lord, their God and Savior
Who for them once suffered death
So if you are a searcher
Living with empty spaces still
Give some thought to finding Him
See if your heart with joy will fill

This was a fine job of providing the message and bringing it home in your own personal way. Nice job. God Bless~
