he’s over the top
he’s stratospheric
he just won’t stop
unearthly, mysterious
he’s from “off”, he’s far out
he’s long expected
he comes with a shout
no eye has see
no ear has heard
no heart imagined
the might of The Word
stealthy among us
he drops from above
way past amazing
his outlandish love
all things we believe
in all things we hope
all things we endure
with all things we cope
for sake of The Word
who disarms the able
a fantastic display
he brings to the table
he zaps to extinction
all evil intent
transforms to goodness
what was hell-bent
no loathsome deed
escapes his attack
all good he reveals
grabs and gives back
down from the heavens
he zooms like a bird
he’s the Son, the last Adam
the true Living Word
heed not and you enter
the realm of depraved
touch his cross, see his glory
by his grace, you are saved!
