The contrasting verses clearly remind the reader that often people are not who they seem to be. But still we judge. . .
A paradigm shift put to poetry - revealing a great truth. Said in this form, it takes on its own uniqueness, causing one to stop and consider once again that things before us are not always what they might seem.
This poem really reached out and touch me. I live in a rural area where it's easy to forget there are homeless people hurting so intensely. Thanks for the beautiful but sad reminder

Opposite of Shann, I see homeless all the time and it is very sad.

God sees them too and cares.

There is so much that we don't see, hear and know about others. You captured this idea well in your poem. I'm glad you ended on a note of hope.
