The danger that’s ahead,
When first he dares to step into
The spider’s silken thread,
While Max Mosquito does not see
How it could ever be
That following a lacy line
Might lead to jeopardy.
Though Gill Grasshopper jumps quite high,
His thinking’s pretty dense.
He cannot tell that once he’s trapped,
He’ll be without defense.
And Billy Beetle does not sense
His chance of freedom’s dim,
For when inside spun prison walls,
Escape is out for him.
Poor Matthew Moth’s been often known
To fly too close to flame.
It’s likely he won’t comprehend
This mesh is not a game.
Alas for Willy Wally Wasp,
Who lacks discrimination!
The peril that he fails to note
Will cause decapitation.
The lesson to be learned from these,
All lacking in perception,
Is to be wise to Satan’s wiles,
His evil mind’s conception.
Our Lord has written in His Word,
The plan of His salvation,
And if we’re wise and yield to Him,
He’ll save us from damnation.

"Consider the bugs and be wise" ?
