An air of pompous self-righteousness
an eyebrow arched in skepticism
an arrogant smirk of superiority
a holier-than-thou Oh of smug inference.

Coquettish and flirty
a side-long glance, teasing and coy
an Oh, you’re so-o-o sweet!

The horror of forgetfulness
the guilt of careless omission
the dismay of overlooked commitments
the wailing siren of remorseful Oh no!

Bounce and twirl in gleeful abandonment
claps and shrieks of childlike excitement
squealing Oh’s of ecstatic delight.

Eyes closed in contentment
a lingering Oh-h-h of sensuous pleasure
a warm bubble bath of soothing serenity
melts away the stresses of the day.

A moment of exquisite beauty
an act of sacrificial kindness and generosity
the barely breathed whisper of an Oh
at a moment of healing and forgiving love.

Bowed in worship, hushed and reverent
Oh becomes a prayer of joy and gratitude
uttered to the Creator of beauty
the generous and healing Redeemer
the loving and forgiving Savior.

Oh does have many faces, doesn't it. I like this because it is the type of thing you can read over and over and feel it more and more each time. Almost like singing a song. Thank you.
