Topic: Fellowship (among believers) (10/11/07)
The voice…
So quiet I stop to hear.
You don’t want to go tonight.

So sweet…
Makes me want to listen.
There will be so many people there.

Those words…
They chain me to my chair.
People always stare at you.

So quiet…
I wonder if I’m even right.
You don’t need to go there now.

The reasoning…
Maybe it really is the truth.
You don’t need nobody else.

So convincing…
Should I just stay here tonight?
They’re all a bunch of hypocrites.

Another voice…
Reminds me of things I know.
Two are better than one.

I recall…
The real truth beckons to me.
Don’t listen to those lies.

The need…
Why should I sit all alone?
Where two or three are gathered…

So honest…
I lean in one direction.
Unity is the strength inside.

I stand…
Perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad.
Love is resting in their arms.

Should I…
I want to feel the warmth.
Joy is found in fellowship.

Two voices…
You needn’t depend on them.
...Lean on them for support.

The battle…
Don’t give in - it’s weakness.
...Strength is found in numbers.

It tears…
Listen to me, you know I’m right.
...Look to God - He holds the key.

Kneeling now…
I can’t go on alone.
Community is strength.

The truth…
To follow Christ should not be lonely.
Togetherness is needed.

I go…
Shut out the voice that binds me.
I listen to peace and hope.

It’s there…
My Family watching for me.
Love is waiting there.
