Very creative. I enjoyed remembering all those songs. A couple of minor red ink items. In para 4, she doesn't need an apostrophe. And Lesley ... wants too - should only be one "o". Like I said, minor issues.
A delightfully original and entertaining (though melancholy) trip down down lonely street with some gone-but-not-forgotten favorites. Nice job!
I forgot to say... I loved the touch of humor woven throughout..and the ending was awesomely witty.

I spent 20 years singing those good old songs so I have to make one correction....Tony Bennett sang I left my heart in San Francisco not ole' blue eyes. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed this piece.
