ADD TO MY FAVORITES
for most of those over fifty,
beautifully frosted by nature's ways,
and lookin' kinda nifty.
I always wanted frosted hair,
likin' the way it shined,
couldn't afford the beauty shop fare,
so that left me behind.
I once tried to do it myself,
my “frost” turned out to be blue,
all those products on the shelf,
s'posed to be tried and true.
I gazed at starlets in magazines,
wishin' I had their good looks,
glistenin' highlights in movie scenes,
actin' out story books.
I settled on blonde and curly,
lightened by Miss Clairol,
I learned to color it early,
and no one knew at all.
My mother's hair was sprinkled,
with salt and pepper shakers,
before her lovely face was wrinkled,
without the hair color makers.
Now, I've just let nature win,
with my salt and pepper locks,
silver sparkles mixed within,
and they didn't come from a box!

As for me, I have no hair to worry over of which keeps me far away from any barber!
I enjoyed it very much!
God bless.
I looked forward to the end of the line so I could see your rhyming words.
It flowed so well this style seems natural for you. Keep us your good work.
