Your devotion is well written, clear and easy to follow. It is a universal truth and all Christians should practice.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

God used Psalms 73 to encourage me many years ago when I complained about life's inequities. Thank you for refreshing my memory.

Opinion: Quotes are not necessary when expressing how you feel. unless you're saying it to someone as part of an on-going dialogue. When referring to David, Psalmist is always capitalized. There were a few rough spots in word usage. Consider "better than we do," rather than "better than us," or, "get into trouble like we do," rather than, "like us."
If you meant to use "hirer" and "boss" as the same person, then only one word is necessary.

A quick spelling note: put down are two separate words.

In your closing prayer, which is one I need to remember, there is a comma before and after "Lord."

Your devotional is a great reminder of what attitude we should take when we feel shortchanged. Thank you.:-)
