“L iving this life they’ve given us is irritating!” he would proclaim, “It leads to blindness:
“U nited we must stand up against those who would enslave us and take away our rights!
“S tanding shoulder-to-shoulder we must march together in protest against them and fight!
I nterrupted by clapping and cheering and whistling and a thunderous standing ovation,
V isions of self-promoted grandeur swelled his head with adrenalized aggravation.
E veryone, it seemed, swooned at every word he spoke and bought every irritated lie;
A ll except a remnant who chose to stay in God’s Word and promote The Giver of Life.
L ooking around at the crowd he noticed the remnant who refused to stand and cheer;
O minously, he realized those people could hold back or possibly even ruin his career.
O ff to his side he motioned his usher guards to have the remnant immediately removed;
F orbidden to attend or return to the minister’s congregation, the remnant was reproved.
N evertheless, the remnant fought back and met anyway in the unity of The Holy Spirit:
E lusive, the minister’s usher guards could not find the remnant as they prayed for him.
S o be-aware my friend, not every minster preaches God’s righteousness from the pulpit:
S ome are ravening wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing—just actors—they are the culprit.
