So I named my web journal, “Gone to the Blogs.”
Get it, the play on words, on my internet log,
Gone to the “Dogs” was replaced with the “Blogs.”
Come read it and ponder, it’s sure to delight.
So many stories and humor packed in my internet site.
There’s tales of camping and fishing on Lake Whichamakoo,
And stories of my youth watching Mr. MaGoo!
No politics, no religion or deep meaning thought,
Will clog up this space, the one that I bought.
So prepare your mind to be emptied out there,
The blogs, they seem infinite, but I don’t care.
I’m telling my story, and sharing my mind,
Just another one in six billion, but still one of a kind.
Because that’s how God rolls, each an original he makes,
No clones, no duplicates, no copies, or fakes.
Oh, but oops, I’m sorry, I let slip out my bias,
About how we’re created, please don’t think me too pious.
So I’ll end this Blog ditty, and sign off I think,
Not sure I could’ve said it much better with ink.

First read through I thought, you don't have to explain the joke; but then I decided you did that to be funny (which it is.) Good word choice and rhymes but the rhythm is off in some places and the rhymes sometimes forced. But overall a fun read.
Oh, Man, these phrases sum up the odd habit of blogging perfectly:
"So prepare your mind to be emptied out there,
The blogs, they seem infinite, but I don’t care.
I’m telling my story, and sharing my mind,
Just another one in six billion, but still one of a kind."
