I felt the "shhh," as if they meant for her to be ashamed, until our heavenly father showed his unbridled love. Awesome title.
How wonderful that you realized you do have a Father that loves you unconditionally. My heart still hurts for that little girl. I want to reach across time and give her a hug.

This story, sadly to say, is like so many other stories of children growing up in broken homes in these modern times; but the last paragraph is what made your story stand out. Touching the heart to the point of tears, that paragraph turned a common, everyday, ho-hum story, (in my opinion) into a masterpiece! Thanks for sharing this with your FW readers.

Lovely title to go with a great story. Wonderful.

I disagree with one of the commenters here. There was nothing ho-hum about this story. If it is true, I'm glad you have written it down. Sometimes the writing it down is like a purging of the soul. Actually seeing it in on paper in your own words can be cathartic. Now rip it up and throw it away. Very well written.
