she is my miss yellow roses,
my field of pure white daisies,
my gracious, gentle angel endowed with summer sunshine curls,
she is the laughter of being loved,
she is mine, she is God’s, she is the better part of me.
she is my miss yellow roses,
my field of springtime dreams and autumn memories,
my precious, sparkling jewel endowed with sapphire eyes of mountain blue,
she is the exquisite simplicity of a life so well-lived,
she is mine, she is God’s, she is the better part of me.
she is my miss yellow roses,
my field of possibility and peace,
my joyous, smiling sunrise endowed with forgiveness in her heart,
she is the mercy that flows from heaven’s cool water realms,
she is mine, she is God’s, she is the better part of me.
she is my miss yellow roses,
my field of mellow days of golden harvest,
my bounteous providence endowed with God’s understanding love,
she is the beauty that grows more beautiful with each of our passing years,
she is mine, she is God’s, she is the better part of me.
