No need to worry, or to fret.
Relax and I am sure you’ll see,
How you’re supposed to care for me.
I know that I seem very small,
But I won’t break and that’s not all.
You kept me safe for nine months long,
And now I know where I belong.
And when I keep you up all night,
Try to avoid another fight.
Remember you get cranky too,
So let forgiveness see you through.
And please don’t wrinkle up your nose,
I didn’t mean to soil my clothes!
Remember you make messes too!
It’s just a natural thing to do.
And when you just can’t figure out,
What all my fussing is about.
Remember you get lonely too,
I might just need a hug from you.
And if you want to be on time,
Try and recall this nursery rhyme:
Remember Jack-be-nimble’s plight.
How rushing never turned out right!
Hush, Mom and Dad, don’t run and hide!
You’ll find that God will be your guide.
So just enjoy the Baby Scene
For soon I’ll turn into a teen!
