The Chapel was deathly quiet as the two nervously waited for him to speak and break the eerie silence.
The Administrator finally clearied his throat, and began: "In the presence of God, family and friends, we are gathered here today to witness the sacred vows of marriage between these two individuals. John Doe, will you please repeat after me:
"I, John Doe, take thee, Donald Whatshisname, to be my lawful wedded...ah, er, cough, choke, excuse me, ah, my lawful wedded partner to have and to hold " CUT!
Yikes, Unbelievable! Delete! Expunge! Cancel! Wite Out! Erase! Nullify! Annul, and Void the above scenario as if it never happened!
But it did, and does happen - as it is now legalized in four of the fifty "States" in the U.S. of A. (with more of the states trying desperately to follow suit).
Okay, so same-gender marriage is the newest Biblical "No, No" that man has come up with lately.
The devil, of course, laughs and cheers while Heaven weeps. And me? I am mad as a hornet! I am angry, disgusted, appalled, irate, indignant, ticked off and hot under the collar to think that my fellow human beings condone, okay, excuse, overlook and wink at something that God says is an abomination, detestable, and a "Thou Shalt Not!" in the scriptures.
What a slap in the face to the Almighty, to thumb their noses at His Holy Word. Somebody needs to apologize to God posthaste! I'm talking "ASAP".
Need you ask "Why?"
Jesus said, "From the Beginning of Creation, God made them male and female. For this cause man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh..." (Mark 10:6-8...any & all versions)
I'm not the first to "lose my cool" over my fellow earthling's erring ways. The Bible's full of apologies to God from the Biblical prophets such as Moses, Joshua, Jeremiah and others that were grieved by their fellow man for spitting on God's Holy law.
It's hard to believe that man has forgotten the fire and brimstone that brought Sodom and Gomorrah to their fiery End when they lived this same kind of lifestyle in their era, long ago.
Truthfully speaking, I haven't been this angry since the "Powers-That-Be" demanded that a homemade plaque of the Ten Commandments be removed from the wall of the County Court House in Birmingham, Alabama. Deeming it unfit. To me, this was like spitting in the face of the Almighty! And yet our leaders had the audacity to gather on the steps of the Capital in Washington DC and sing, "God Bless America", the day after the 9/11/ tragic incident.
I've given much thought as to how my fellow man has kicked God out of schools, courts, work places and now families. So perhaps my " righteous indignation" in a public Forum may motivate Christians to stand up for what is right and maybe encourage the Beginning of the END for man's flagrant disrespect and disregard for God's sacred law.
When Jesus was dying on the Cross, He prayed to His Father, saying: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
Therefore, it is my intent to get on my Soap Box and tell the world, or rather SHOUT aloud to the world, so that this time it cannot be said that they didn't "KNOW" what they were doing - Because I tried to tell them.
Plus, I secretly delight in needling the devil by pencrafting his soon-to-be epitaph on the internet for all the world to see. He may chuckle today at his win of legalizing same-gender marriage in the USA, but he won't be laughing for long; because his very latest mistake was stupid, and is hastening his demise.
For it is written that these specific sins are signs of the End of time. A sure sign that this is the "BEGINNING of the END" for him, and a big Victory for those that love God and keep His commandments... Eternal Life
