When poor Job was fully hit by God’s Fatherly will, he became immensely threatened! He became greatly desperate, totally depressed and strangely isolated in his fiery trial.
As Job sat with his wife and mourned in ashes, God gave him an opportunity, to lament the death of his offspring, weep over his dire fate and pinpoint his life.
Although in JOB 14:1 (KJV) he said this, “MAN THAT is born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” Praise God’s Holy name, his strange test ended triumphantly.
Job had really and truly suffered! I feel within me that, if he had any family other than his children, he would have been somehow tremendously consoled in his profound grief and testing.
No---. We never read in God’s Word that Job had any relatives. Except for those three ignorant friends….whom he later on prayed over for healing.
No aunts. No uncles whatsoever..
Praise God’s Holy Name…Now that we have the Son of God as our true Liberator. we know: Whenever crises arise, everything will result with much…much glory . Indeed our Jesus Christ our Liberator lives! He has granted us many, added family blessings: These are our relatives: True Uncles and Aunts who love us.
All through the Redeemer’s teachings, we are fully aware, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139:14. (KJV) , Their love is guaranteed by our God who knows the end from the beginning.
With glory for our Creator and joy for the Christians..we all have relatives. Yes; family members to love and to hold dear in our hearts: To depend upon, and give them the joy of knowing we care, and expect them to care back. This is a God-given right! For He alone can continuously use us in each others’ lives for His glory.
True to His promises..God All Powerful blessed us with many relatives.
For, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior at age seven. How I praise my Heavenly Father; because our was through the care and affection of our relative Assma, one of my precious Aunts.
The Lord used her at one time, to sneak us three sisters, on a Sunday morning, away from our parents. Certainly it had to be totally through the approval of God and our Catholic parents.
“Juliette,” she shrewdly asked my mother one blessed time, “I would like to take your daughters to have lunch with me today. May they stay till after church?”
“Why certainly Assma,” replied my mother, “ if you will promise to accompany them back home.”
That church was in the SIM Mission. It is known as the Sudan Interior Mission. In that Chapel, our Aunt, was a children’s Sunday school teacher. Once there, she beautifully and joyously explained to us the love of the Father who gave the world His Son Jesus Christ.
In simple words, she showed us how He became a person, dwelt in this world, died for our sins when He was crucified.
Through our childish understanding, Aunt Assma enlightened us with the perfect truth of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ---that is, through His Holy Spirit we could invite Him “to stay into our hearts and truly mean it”.. So, forever to become His children…then when we die, Jesus will take us to live with Him in heaven forever more.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE THREE SISTERS DID! HALLELUJAH!
After this lovely day of great joy in witnessing heaven rejoice over three lambs more to add to His glorious fold, we felt very close to Lord Jesus-----and to our Aunt Assma!.
then it was time for our return home. Her brother, Uncle Khalil walked us home from church …
On the way, he taught us that “KHALIL” in our Arabic language means friend. And that Abraham is called “Khalil Allah” meaning ---A Friend of God.
I recall how we felt happy! We left home that early morning as Catholics! We came back , with the richest knowledge and understanding of who, we three sister have became.
As our loving Mom came to greet us, she found our hands linked, heads bowed, a special PRESENCE told her all she needed to know.
Uncle Khalil almost sang these words:
“Father Lord, into Your arms of love and mercy and protection…I entrust these three roses for Jesus. From this day, Father God, may You be their greatest Teacher and most loving Promise Keeper…Amen. ”
