The rattitude of this avenging group focused on bringing destruction to those who committed to a Lord and Savior called Jesus, The Christ. A counterfeit Rat Cheese was laid out everywhere that brought poison to the souls of the Ranat members so they would oppose God, the leader of their perceived foe. The smell of cheddar so overcame the rat force that they could not distinguish lies from truth.
Some of the rats, just like Mr. and Mrs. Ratafinka, joined the group because the constant ratatat of right-sounding words and smells appealed to their senses. For a while they joined the Norway rats, Ratskee, Ratchet, Rattie, Ratzel, and Ratkin to come against those who shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ being told to the entire world.
The Ratafinka’s saw how the local group they belonged to, The Rat Almighty Council, twisted every word spoken by “The Church” who seemed to be quite nice. Privately they began to approach Ranat members and question their beliefs. They asked their friends why they were bringing harm to those who did nothing wrong. They inquired if anyone really knew Lucifer’s past.
Mrs. Ratfink wasted no time in going to the High Rogue Council with her findings of insubordination. The Council was outraged that Mr. and Mrs. Ratafinka who pledged their allegiance to Lucifer would turn from him. In the spirit of Ranat, plans were being made to minister raticide to both of them.
Senior Ratzerl reported directly to Lucifer that this family was discrediting the name of the Rat Charter’s founder. Unknown to the rat clan, “The Church” members had already led Mr. and Mrs. Ratafinka to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. As soon as this happened, scales lifted from their eyes and they saw everything clearly. The couple was finally at peace. Their new friends knew that King Lucifer would instruct the High Rogue Council to kill the defectors so they hid them in a temporary home until they could start over.
The Word of God replaced The Rat Charter that once sustained The Ratafinka’s. In one particular story they learned a man received a new name when he stopped persecuting “The Church”. They ratpented from all the hurt they had caused and were given new names by God Jehovah Himself. They were called Mr. and Mrs. Astrid, which means God Beautiful. Because Rat Cheese now made them sick to their stomachs, they ate Angel Food Cake from that day forward.
