Just taking in all the beauty, a gentle warmth comes over me.
A sweet, sweet fragrance softly fills the air;
I feel this peaceful stillness with which nothing can compare.
As the tide rolls in, the waves kiss this serene land…
Tranquil glimpses of perfection, the gifts of God’s own hand.
Though storms may arise tossing me all about,
My Savior is with me there, of this I have no doubt.
He promised never to leave me and never to forsake,
Rescues me from the nightmares, causing my weary soul to awake.
The sunshine on my face lets me know He is there…
This gentle warmth is a reminder of Jesus’ tender loving care.
As I sit here on the dock, reflecting on all you’ve freely given me,
Your love and your forgiveness and promised home in eternity;
I know that I’m not worthy Lord, and there’s really nothing I can do…
My life and salvation is a priceless gift of love to me from You.
