The reason that I love to write,
Is not just for simple pleasure,
But to share God’s precious promises
And blessings beyond measure.
For I count it as a privilege
With an awesome task, I hold,
To share the words our God inspires,
In my writing to be bold.
I may not be rich or famous,
Through the words that I have written.
But I love to share the beauty
Of the world that God has given.
For there are many gifted writers,
I’ve been privileged to know.
As we share our gifts and talents,
We learn to stretch and grow.
It truly is my great desire,
To share God’s love with you,
Through the medium of writing,
Show His promises are true.
Creating pictures through my words,
May lead others to the throne,
Of Our Father up in heaven,
So they'll know you are not alone.
It’s by the trials we go through,
And the answers that we share,
That we can truly empathize,
To show someone we care.
I’ve found so many lovely friends
Who share my joy to write,
FaithWriters opens up this world,
To make the future bright.
When it’s time to leave this mortal life,
I’ll leave a true legacy, I pray,
Of treasured words inspired by God,
Helping others walk His Way.
Dear God, I give you all the glory,
For the precious gifts we share.
The joys we find through sharing,
Makes us rich beyond compare.
