I can almost feel the air of June
I reach out and hug it to my breast
Carry me away to that June day
Let me totally be at rest
The air of June, close my eyes and breathe
The Love touch
I can’t see it, touch it, or taste it
But breathe it in, breathe deeply
It’s love, touching the heart and exploding
all over into every fiber of my being
My heart opens wide
love enters with beautiful strides
I feel your love around my heart
I inhale and exhale loving bubbles
Of wedded bliss
waiting to hear, you can now kiss
Our skies of love
Keep me in tune
My love for you started then
Back through the years
Way back when
Cake and rice and everything nice
Then off in a 55 Ford
A drive into a deep green forest
Where woman and man
Explore the plan
Of living and loving as much as we can
I feel your lips
And your sweet caress
Mr. & Mrs.
How we are blessed
You are my knight
God dressed you with the armor shine
You’ve proved in to me time after time
I thank God that your are mine
The sweet aroma of that day in June
Loving in the garden
Adoring the moon
Marigolds and bachelor buttons
The scent of a queen
Living in luxury
Fulfilling a dream
Mommy and daddy
Little girls and boys
God blessed us with the real mc’coy
June 16th in 62
God made that day for me and you
Over some valleys and some bumpy roads
Life is never perfect, we are told
Hold on to God
And claim his victory
Praying together is the secret
Holding hands all the while
Kneeling beside our bed, facing every trial
Praying together
Is a powerful tool
The power of agreement between me and you
Two souls become one spirit
Our prayers go toward the throne
We march boldly into that grace
Drawing living waters from the one who took our place
Our Father, in Jesus name, we come to you in prayer
Oh, what peace, oh what glory
Our God is alive forevermore
Our journey is life making
Together we can take it
You for me and me for you
Taking one day at a time
Making the most of every minute
With each morning light
We thank God that this is the day that the Lord has made
Then troubles drift back into the night
Praying and singing on top the mountain
The valleys all faded into yesterdays
Always searching for living water fountains
Our marriage vows will never be broken,
For better or worse, rich or poor
In all situations, God answers our door.
My darling, my love for you is everlasting and
When the angel in white knocks on our door
We’ll travel together to the great beyond
And shout and dance around Gods throne!
Just remember I love you more than Life
This poem is to you, from your darling wife.
