an army of friends and family.
Their hearts held close to me define
friendship as my refinery.
First, a mom’s dear love is truly,
our only mortal saving grace.
Guarding as an angel’s duty,
inspiring with her warm embrace.
Dads love you to the moon, and yes,
forever he will have your back.
He will never make you second guess,
and sure to help pick up your slack.
Your sibling gal, known as ‘sista’,
she will love you like no other.
From quibbles to heartening whispers,
she’ll advise you like your mother.
A brother knows you all too well.
He is the loyal ‘homie’ pal.
He may have laughed at times you fell,
but picks you up and builds morale.
We all can count on man’s best friend,
the forever loving canine.
They’re always there until the end,
as well as devoted felines.
A common confidant would be,
best friend forever, b-f-f.
She’ll fly for miles across the sea,
to be with you in your distress.
A spouse devotes all of their life;
the sweetest of many refiners.
Reaching for gold, a husband or wife,
endure for treasures as miners.
A mighty friend where grace imparts,
is my loving Savior’s kindness;
He holds my metaled, rusted heart,
purifying to its finest.
It´s wondrous how our God provides
our neighbors in varied vestries.
The countless comrades at our side,
‘tis the beauty of the besties!
