You know, I normally find myself skimming through the poetry entries because they tend to not hold my interest as much as other types of writing do. Plus, they make me think - which sometimes I don't want to do! But this poem was different. It swept me along and I found myself fascinated by the vivid imagery of imagining a past you never knew, but yet are tied so closely to.

Great job!

Lovely poem - imagining the great expectations of ancestors! I love the ending – although not much information was passed along, the most vital information of all was! Enjoyed the read!
Beautiful poem describing the mystery of God's plans, working and weaving through history to bring each of us to this day. You may not know much of your ancestry, but what you know is the most important part.
En joyed this poem and the story it told. It brought to mind how faith can fill us with anticipation and by faith we fulfill God's call on our lives, eventually affecting the lives of others. Congratulations on your EC
