I need it right now or my joy will not start.
Just give it to me with no price to be paid.
I’ll take it from you, that treasure you’ve laid.
I’ll stand on the corner and stare you right down.
And if you don’t give, I’ll give you a frown.
I’m entitled you see; you owe me that dime.
Why should I earn it? I haven’t got time.
It’s all about me and my life has been hard.
They shuffled the deck and I got the wrong card.
My fate is for more than what you can see.
I want what you have if I’m going to be free.
The choices I made are not your concern.
Don’t try to share wisdom; I’m not willing to learn.
For when I was born and my needs were all met.
I learned very quickly I need to take it to get.
From the beginning of time this attitude came.
It started with men as God called them by name.
They wanted that fruit with their evil desire.
An uncontrolled urge could not stop that fire.
People want everything without any cost.
They value possessions ignoring the cross.
That was a handout coming straight from above.
Dipped in the blood and anointed with love.
Most want a handout, but not from the Christ.
They spit in His face and called it a heists.
He offer them everything, no price to cough up.
When He died on the cross He drank their cup.
Now you have a choice this day you should make.
A handout from Jesus or your life lived a fake.
Taking from all by trick or by force,
And denying the handout of Heavenly course.
