The day I was born from my father’s wife.
But God was there in this moment of time.
And still here today at this writing of rhyme.
It was only a minute when I went off to school.
To go from pure freedom to the age of the rule.
But God was there when I entered that place.
I got past the cruelty and accepted His Grace.
It was only a minute that changed me that day.
My sins were forgiven and I accepted His Way.
My future now solid with His anchor of Love.
The trials I’ll go through now led from above.
It was only a minute when I said the “I do”.
From single to married, our life is brand new.
A future together, till death do us part.
We captured that moment, she captured my heart.
It was only a minute from death unto life.
With our children’s birth from my beautiful wife.
It seems just a minute and they’re both grown up.
Now tasting of life; each from their own cup.
It was only a minute and the decision was made.
To attend a great study where foundation is laid.
It is named BSF and in Truth is secure.
It is only the Bible they consider quite pure.
It takes only a minute each morning we read.
Our Bible devotions, each day to secede.
Or maybe it’s ten minutes when we kneel down to pray.
But isn’t our Savior worth that much every day?
A minute goes by in the wink of an eye.
Or can last for eternity when asking God why.
One things for certain each person will find.
That just a mere minute is “A Moment In Time”.
