Topic: The Church (12/06/07)
God’s people will always have their differences, however they all have a common goal - to serve Jesus Christ and live for him. When that great day comes when all will stand before the Lamb of Glory we will be accountable for what we have done with what He has given us; not who was right or wrong about doctrine. The church - a large body of people with a purpose to fulfill their God given passion; if this body of people should ever come together the world would be changed for the better within a short period of time. When one has a passion and works hard to fulfill that passion much can be accomplished, but when a large group of people who share the same passion come together they can shake the world for Christ.
The world is looking for answers; answers about the present and the future. But who will stand and share with the world the answers for today and tomorrow? As the darkness gets darker in the world and wickedness increases; the world, media and government are all looking for answers to what is going on. As they look for answers in all the wrong places the light shines bright in their schools, businesses, government, and cities. This light called the church shines brighter then ever before but when this group (the church) comes to together people from all backgrounds and religions will see the truth; the truth that Jesus Christ is the only true God, the only true source of peace and joy. Only the church can shine this light to those who are blinded from the truth and are without God in their lives, a group of people who are privileged to take the message of a savior to the world and spread light where ever they go.
