Topic: Shrewdness (03/07/05)
I remember as a child, singing the song; the devil is a sly old fox, if I could catch him I'd put him in a box, lock the door and throw away the key, for all those tricks he's played on me.
Looking back, I can surely see where he has tricked me!
The Bible says, be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (I Peter 5:8 kjv)
As I continue to grow in the Lord, I am constantly reminded to wake up, and be watchful. The devil is sly, is old, and is crafty. He is in the business of robbing God's people, just like a fox that slyishly snatches the chicken.
The devil is destroying our Nation, breaking down our homes,
and weakening the church. And he is doing it, because we have neglected to maintain our fences. We have allowed things to dig holes around our fortress, and we have not repaired
the damage done. We have forgotten that Mothers are to guard the home, and the Fathers are to guide the home.
And that we are to do it with the Word of God.
Let's face it, the devil has been very clever in this plan he has devised. He is crafty, deceitful, and wicked.
Only with the eyes of Christ, can we see the thief trying to break in!
For the thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
(I John 10:10a kjv)

Have you ever noticed people will argue if there is a God or not, and even which one he is. But we never hear anyone argue much if there is a devil? It is as if we don't believe in a evil identity, we can say, it's all caused only by man....
