If I were a ship jammed
between two solid rocks
I would not give up hope;
I know whom I believe

Should my hand be jammed
in the spoilt door
I would not be panic;
You won't leave or forsake

Although I am jammed
like the suitcase with clothing
I will never despair;
I know You are my timely help

I may be in a jam
or a predicament
I will stand firm and wait
patiently for rescue

I would still praise You
if I were caught in a jam
in a free way
I knew You have a plan

Jams are God-sent indeed
If my God reigns
whatever situations
I'm in; I will trust Him

Jams are God's special gems
They are meant for my good
:to hone and help me shine
I may be more like Christ

His promises hold true
Peace reigns through stormy seas
Crystal clear are His Word
; His very gracious deeds

Surely I will not fear
At times I may pass through
the dark valleys of jams
The Lord's my Good Shepherd
