Bill shuffled through big sheets of paper. There were four dirty plates on the table. "I'm looking over blueprints for a satellite."
George raised his eyebrows. "What is this satellite going to do?"
Bill wrote something on the blueprints. "I am hoping to find the end of space."
George shrugged his shoulders. "Bill, I can't believe that you want to waste the taxpayers' money on something that's just plain nonsense."
"Nonsense!" Bill rolled his eyes. "I'm going to prove that space does end, and you Christians are a bunch of religious whackos."
George thumbed through his Bible. "Bill, space doesn't end, and God did create the earth moon and stars. Do you think the rings of Saturn happened by accident? There is also the Helix Nebula that is in the constellation Aquarius. I believe a creator spoke them into existence."
Bill laughed. "That's just a bunch of hogwash."
**********
If scientists like Bill were to take a realistic look at the facts they would discover that the earth was created by God.
Like space, Heaven is also neverending. If Bill were to change his views and ask Jesus into his heart, he will be able to spend eternity with him.
The Bible says that someday there will be a new Heaven and Earth. Hopefully, when we're in our real home with Jesus, he will take us on a tour of the universe.
On this side of Heaven, we will never know all that is out there. Considering the beauty of the present earth and stars, I can't imagine what it will be like. That makes eternal life with Jesus worth waiting for.
