Our melting looks will always win,
Though you keep us out of sight,
Memories of us won’t leave tonight.
At bedtime we’ve been known to call,
Your name so softly to enthrall,
To indulge in us is such a plus,
We’re absolutely fabulous!
Others say we’re no good for you,
Dear, you know, that just isn’t true,
We always make for you to smile,
Before you slumber for a while.
We’re sitting here with insides freezing,
Waiting for you, but it’s not easy.
We whisper softly, “Please take us out!”
You sadly shake your head in doubt.
Flinging the covers back on your bed,
Visions of us dance in your head,
You loathe the thought of temptation,
"Oh!" But we’re such a sensation!
After saying your evening prayers,
Still thinking of us, how do your bear,
Cravings for these coldhearted fellows,
Who comfort you and make you mellow?
Once in bed, you’re tossing and turning,
We fill your mind with sleepless yearning,
Why dare deny yourself this way?
Once in a while, you know its okay!
At last you rise and run to your freezer,
We knew you’d come, you old teaser!
Just who are we to make your so merry?
Your fabulous friends, Ben and Jerry!
