Cocaine, this world’s drug of choice.

Cocaine says, "I have my own voice."

Cocaine says, "I can take a man, and make him feel great,

he won't know what has hit him, until it's too late.

I can make a teenage boy; sell his body on the streets.

I can make him rob and steal, from everyone he meets."

Cocaine says, "I am so in love with everyone I meet.

If you don't watch out for me, I’ll have you homeless on the streets."

Cocaine says, "I can make you higher than you've ever been before.

I can make your faithful father, walk right out the door."

Cocaine says, "The next time you think that you can handle me,

Watch out for your mama, I will have her trying to get free."

Cocaine says, "Don't get mad at me, for I am just doing my job.

If you have any sense at all, you better call on God."

Cocaine says, "Not only will I make you high, I am out to steal your soul.

I will kill your child, your mother, and your brother, it makes no difference to me how old."

Cocaine says, "So the next time that you decide, that you want some of me.

You better think twice, for your soul in hell I’ll see."

Cocaine says, "There is only one thing, that will make me leave you alone,and that is the Precious Blood of Jesus, for your sins He has atoned."

Cocaine says, "Now you just keep in mind, that I will be knocking at your door."

You better decide to run from me that it is your soul that I am longing for."

Cocaine says, “You just keep in mind that I am walking around seeking whom I may devour.
It makes no difference to me who you are, unless you've got that "Holy Ghost Power."

Powerful message with the enemy wanting to keep people in bondage. Amen to Jesus in freeing all souls. Good job...God Bless~

This was excellent...and praise God "Holy Ghost Power" is greater than cocaine and able to break drug’s bondage! Great poem for this day and age when so many seem hell bent on using drugs!

This is such a great original way to show Persuasion. I never thought I'd enjoy a poem about cocaine so much.

You might want to space it differently to make it easier to read. Perhaps have four lines in a verse then double-space between verses.

This is a great message, one I wish many teens tempting to try drugs should be required to read this.
