We can’t wait to see you both. We miss you terribly. Ramon and I both agree being married to your best friend truly is a blessing from God. We know what our significant others are thinking and finish each others sentences and then laugh joyously at our closeness. It is sad not all know the joy we share with our significant other. The beauty of our marriages is found in the Bible. The Lord laid out how we are to conduct our lives while here upon this earth. He left nothing to chance.
Ramon and I consider you and Louisa to be the ultimate wives as described in Proverbs 31, but we know you would tell us we are two old fogies who are looking through rose colored glasses, and then you would roll your eyes throw your heads back and laugh. That is part of your charm. Naturally, we would disagree vehemently. We consider you our better half since it takes two equal parts to make a whole. We love you both dearly and want only the best for you.
We Know you and Louisa are enjoying yourselves at the women’s retreat. Ramon and I are thankful that our church sets up the retreats where as they coincide with each other.
Ramon keeps nudging me wanting to find out about the women’s retreat? How many young women are present, and how many young women are you and Louisa mentoring? According to the brochure the women have some pretty knowledgeable speakers this year. We know you are enjoying spending time together and ministering to those young women.
Ramon and I think the men’s retreat this year is the best of the best. We can’t remember the last time we had so many young men present. We are having the time of our lives.
We are mentoring ten young men, and we are at the top of our game, all thanks to God. They truly keep us on our toes. Although we are old enough to be their grandparents they consider us part of the gang, which is such a blessing.
They ask us so many questions about the Bible. I thank God for His help in guiding us as we minister to these young men.
We are studying the Book of Jude. With diligence we can complete it in one week. These young men are hungry to learn the Word and it warms our hearts to be used by God in this way.
Ramon and I literally fall into bed total exhausted each night. We look forward to the beginning of each new day and totally rely on Jesus’ guidance and strength.
How blessed we are belonging to a church that truly believes in teaching the young men and women about the Bible not only at these retreats, but each and every Sunday, and at Wednesday evening Bible studies.
It is getting late my darling Crystal, and we have a full day tomorrow so will close for now. Please tell Louisa Ramon sends his love and can’t wait to give her a big hug and kiss. We share just about everything with each other and we know you and Louisa do as well. We thank God for the close bond of friendship we have with each other. God has so blessed us in that area. Ramon and I are like brothers and you and Louisa are like sisters. How great and wonderful is our God. Well, my dearest take care, and God bless both of you. We anxiously await your reply.
Love Forever and always.
Kurt

I think it'd be stronger without Ramone (and Louisa) in the letter--just the two main characters, the letter-writer and his wife.
The letter-writer's love for his Crystal is very evident.
