Wow, I so enjoyed this. I have also enjoyed the special time at home with my husband and kids and he did get a chance to meet and help our neigbors. Thanks for the writing.
Such insight you have. I enjoyed your story. I can't imagine living where there was never any snow. Good job.

I never thought about wanting the snow so people would slow down and get to know one another better. What a marvelous idea. I'm not a snow lover, but this made me think of "praying and being thankful in all circumstances". I'm glad you got your snow even though you didn't pray for it.
Like you I pray for snow but very rarely had my prayers answered, but this year I had 6 inches of the white fluffy snowman making snow. All my neighbors grumbled because driving was treacherous. Black ice as it is called in East Texas. I built my snowman and thanked God for snow. Keep writing and God bless.

Yikes, I detest the snow--now I know who to blame for it!

This was a fun read.
