A heart-felt fight
A glimpse of hope
A dream in sight
A grasping for
What they can't see
A struggle for
That faith in me
I see, I see
That bright white light
My soul begins to take it's flight
No, shall I leave this darkest night
While cancer takes it's fateful plight
I strive for each and every breath
The white light blinds out all the rest
They'll say she did her very best
But it's not true, I've done much less
My love ones start to fade away
And doctors voices do delay
The White engulfs to my dismay
My soul, my being
And all I'm seeing.
There's music blaring all about
I feel within a glorious shout
The white light fills my everything
I dance with all my might and sing
Alive again, I know I win
The white light, now my Faithful Friend
I feel the love of Christ within
Grace purges me from all my sin
A robe so pure, marks me elite
An ecstasy, such pure delight
Embraced within my Saviors sight
I worship in my robe of white.
