For twelve years her suffering just seemed like too much.
She had heard of a Man who showed compassion for all.
So she came up behind Him in the stealth mode of call.
It was only a touch that she wanted that day.
It was only a touch and she would be on her way.
It took only a touch for changes to be.
It took only a touch to set her life free.
As she grew even closer she reached out her hand.
And touched the hem of His garment, for this was her plan.
Her faith had redeemed her and healing took place.
Not only her body but her soul had found grace.
It was only a touch that she wanted that day.
It was only a touch and she would be on her way.
It took only a touch for changes to be.
It took only a touch to set her life free.
The Man turned around and looked at the crowd.
He said “Who Touched Me” in a voice that was loud.
When all had denied it his friends spoke right up.
It could have been anyone who might interrupt.
It was only a touch that He felt on his coat.
It was only a touch as the Bible will quote.
It took only a touch for some power to leave.
It took only a touch and this woman would believe.
She now would step forward falling down at his feet.
In a show of humility but not of defeat.
And say that she touched Him and was immediately healed.
She knew in her heart that her future was sealed.
It was only a touch that she wanted that day.
It took only a touch and every things okay.
We need only a touch of the Master and King.
Then with only a touch in Heaven we’ll sing.
