My sins you had to bear,
Without a case to carry them,
Each one was so unfair.
I overheard another say,
You carried their sins too,
Without a case to carry them,
I still don't have a clue.
You felt my angry words,
My thoughts of guilt and shame,
Without a case to carry them,
They caused you so much pain.
Divorce, discord and bitterness,
Bad decisions that I made,
Without a case to carry them,
Too high of price you paid.
My precious heavenly Father,
They nailed you to that tree,
Without a case to carry them,
You died to set me free.
Up the hill, and on that cross,
My sins ran through your veins,
Without a case to carry them,
Each one left vibrant stains.
Out of the grave you rose,
No sins you had to haul,
Without a case to carry them,
To Heaven you were called.
It is only by your grace,
Each stain is white as snow,
I don't know how you carried them,
You love me, this I know!
