As we leave the View Point instead of heading back to the highway we head up a gravel road which takes us even higher up the hill. The farther we proceed the more we feel his presence. Not an overwhelming presence, but a gentle, this is the right way, presence. Once to the top we find three large crosses sitting on the apex of the hill. In front of the crosses is a crude pulpit. With the magnificent view of the valley behind it, the pulpit becomes more than just a man-made piece of furniture, it becomes the center of what one could call, our own little universe. Here the presence of God is powerful. Behind us, looking away from the valley is another different view. This view is of sweeping wheat fields, as far as the eye can see. At the very end of the horizon you can just make out another river, a mighty river, flowing onward to the ocean hundreds of miles away. The wind seems to always blow up here. Not a type of wind that is disruptive, but rather a soothing wind. A wind that reminds us that he is always with us. This is Holy ground, ground that has been prophesized to the bride, ground that will bring hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions to seek his presence. From this ground will spring force new life, restoration, vision, promise, love, healing and much more than we can even begin to fathom. Sightseers will find refuge here, the lost will see the light of the city on the hill. This calming, healing wind will touch many generations, just as it is touching us right now. This same wind which gracefully moves over barren ground at this time, will someday flow through gardens and lakes, worship centers, in and out of sanctuaries, and most important, this healing wind will bring refreshing to the multitudes who believe upon the one and only living God.
