I want to be a pure reflection of who you are.
I want to ride upon the waves of your emotion.
Just to see You in all your glory and stand in awe.
May I never strike out of pure devotion.
As I answer every word and obey Your call.

I want to be that ray of light that shines in darkness.
I want to be the image of who You are.
I want to see the lost come bow before You.
Accepting everything of You into their hearts.

I want to someday hear Your voice so clearly.
That not one trace of me shall enter in.
To see Your will and perfect plan You have for me.
To walk it out with You hand in hand.

And when the time shall come for me to be no more.
I want to be in Your presence for eternity.
I know I’ve had You all along.
For by You, was I saved, and You never strayed from me.

And when that time comes around for me.
May all remember You instead of me.
For it was You who I most admired.
And it was You, to them, I wanted to be.
