The term itself can mean to measure up or satisfy or it can also be
Defined as something being carried out or completed.
Jesus did this very thing on Golgotha’s Hill.
He came to fulfill all the Old Testament promises to
His people.
While hanging on the cross and giving up the ghost
He spoke the words,
“It is finished.”
The beautiful promises spoken by God way
Back in the garden when He told Eve, that her seed
would bruise the serpents head were
fulfilled that day at Calvary.
When it comes to fulfilling the will of God in
Our own individual lives we can look to
The example that Jesus gave us by his sacrifice that day.
He did not count his life as His own but a life
Carried out to fulfill the will of the Father.
Though He suffered trials and temptations He
Counted it all joy for the victory ahead.
Life may hand us thorns but Jesus’ example rallies
Us on to continue to strive for the high calling
That rests upon each believers life.
We are called to share the gospel and live
it before others in hope that by our examples
They may follow Jesus Christ and
Inherit the free
Gift of eternal life that He has promised to those who
believe. In doing all this we find our own fulfillment.
