When you think of the word end what quickly comes to mind? Other words like, finished, complete or perhaps done. Now think of the word end in the spiritual realm. Does the word even exist there or is it simply man made? Did our Heavenly Father use this word?
Most likely He did use the word end but He did not use it when He created us. To do so would have been to contradict Himself. Eternity and end are polar opposites and therefore can not coincide with one another. Our heavenly Father had the word eternity in mind when He created us. He did not do so with the mind set we’d be fun to have around for awhile and like that of a four year old on Boxing Day put us on his shelf to gather dust. No, He wanted us around for eternity. Forever.
In our human nature we tend to believe all things must come to an end. But if we think about this word in the spiritual realm or as I believe God would have used it, we may start thinking of it not as an end or completion of something but as a new chapter to read, a new season to explore or even a new medium. We could even change this three letter word into an acronym such as eternity’n divine.
