“Hi Grammy,” her beautiful young grand daughter called. “We brought you something.” The grandma was hunched over and trying to think, what could they be bringing me? The little family came into the living room. In front of the little girl was a little glass horse. She recognized it but, knew this could not be like hers.
For back a few years ago, her daughter was wrestling around in the living room and knocked the little shelf that held this precious little crystal horse. As they placed the horse in her lap, she could not believe her eyes. This had been a heirloom given to her by her mother. And it broke her heart when the little horse was shattered into a million pieces.
At this time, she inspected the jewel of crystal and realized that there was something wrong. Yes, something wrong with her to be mad all these years at her caring daughter. She quietly called her aside. Martha, I need to speak with you alone. Martha cringed a little thinking that, Oh no now what did I do? Mom has not talked to me in so many years.
So, she got up all her courage and agreed to talk with her alone. Fearing for the worse, she prayed a simple prayer. "God please use this little horse as a key that will unlock my mom's heart. It is tearing me apart to not have a relationship with her. God I miss my mother, amen."
The little lady took her daughter's hands in hers. Then, Martha saw something amazing start to happen, her mother began to cry. All of sudden, she looked into Martha's eyes and said, “I am sorry that I held this against you so long. Would you please forgive me?” Martha said with sincerity, “oh mom I love you, of course I will.”
Soon, mother and daughter were in a warm embrace. This was the sweetest and longest hug that Martha had ever received from her mother. Martha quietly prayed again in her mind, God, thank you for unlocking my mother's heart. I know You always are the answer to my problems. Thank you Lord for giving me my mother back, amen."
Do you ever feel hard inside? That is the time to really ask God to unlock your heart and help you ask for forgiveness or forgive someone. For a heart of stone is like a lock that is hard to open. Let God supply the key to your heart.

Well done.
God bless~
A bible verse to use with this is Matt. 6:14-15.
Matt. 6:15 is the verse we all should consider if we know of someone we should forgive.
