Knowing the grass was greener on the other side of the fence, Ernesto asked his father for his portion of the family’s inheritance. He wanted to explore the world and sow some of his wild oats. After his father had granted him his request, Ernesto scooted under the wire fencing and went to a foreign land for a series of famous swine and dine festivals. He enjoyed his time of freedom with his newfound friends until “like a pig in a poke” he had lost all of his inheritance to them. His lips were parched and he could find only bits of shriveled turf here and there. In desperation, he even tried to sniff out truffles at one of the local farms, but he wasn’t allowed even a taste of them. When he thought about all he had given up, Ernesto decided that he would beg his father to take him back as his servant. He didn’t want to come home with his tail between his legs, but what other choice did he have?
When his father saw him coming from a distance; he squealed in delight. Filled with love and compassion, his father ran to him and covered him with a “hog and kisses”.
“Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I’m no longer worthy to be your son.”
“Come, he called to the nearby neighbors. My son is home and we’re going to celebrate his return.”
When his brother came in from his work out in the fields, he saw the neighbors pigging out and making merry.
“What’s going on?” he inquired.
“Your brother has returned, the sow snorted, “so your father has set a table fit for a swine.”
The older brother refused to go to the party; instead, he wallowed out in the mud and felt disGRUNTled. His father saw that his older son had not decided to attend, so he ran out to talk to him. The older brother responded, “Look! I have done all you have asked of me, yet I have never received all the love and attention you are giving to this wayward brother of mine.”
“Everything I own has always belonged to you,” the father assured him. However a celebration is in order, for your brother who was dead is now alive; he was lost but is now found.”
Moral of the story: Never forgot how SOOIEet it is to be a child of our King.

Good job.
God bless~
The one part that is not told is of the other "little pigs" who also got their share and left home but never returned. They were just fried bacon.
From this we must be reminded that we must be faithful till death or we know what our reward is.
Keep writing stories that challenge our faithfulness in showing our love of God by keeping his commandments.
