“Welcome, woman to New Woman of Victory Life Home.

Those of you who have been here know the drill, those of you who do –not, pay attention, please.

“Ladies, “listen up”!

Tomorrow, there will be some new changes, here in the woman’s home. Starting with the chores, some of you will be responsible for more than one chore, on the clean-up sheet. (COLOSSIANS 3:23-24) NIV whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Lisa and Amber you are kitchen clean-up, “Rosy, bathrooms, “Marry, living room, “Teresa, sweep &mop.

“Ladies”! “Listen up for your name; these are the extra duties that will be assigned to a few of you. We will rotate these every week according to the girls that come in and go out.

“Rosy, has trash, “Marry, you have laundry, for extra credit (all week) clean-up, patio area, starting with Sandra.

Okay, every woman will be up by 5:00 A.M. “Ladies, you will have exactly 30 minutes to get cleaned up!

6:00 o’clock is Devotional, “Do-not be late? “All of you who are late will receive write-ups.

3 write-ups will result in discipline. (PROVERBS 13:24) NIV He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. A Disciplinary Action Form will be handed, and will be a loss of home privileges: Visits, phone, T.V., and weekend passes.

“Failure, to comply with house rules you will be given a warning and may result in a dismissal.

“Ladies, will then meet in the kitchen for breakfast you will have exactly 45 minutes, to finish your breakfast.

Keep in mind everything is timing.

You’re duties will then take place after breakfast. You have 45 minutes to get your chores done. “Ladies be sure your assigned duties are cleaned and complete, ready for 7:30 inspection.

If you’re area has passed inspection it will then be checked of by a staff member.

Those of you who are new will be given: “what we call a buddy. They will be assigned to you, again, for what we call 30 day probation”.

You will be given 30 minutes of free time, 7:30 to 8:00.

8:00 o’ clock classes will begin; all ladies will be participating in the following programs “The battle field of the mind” “Drug and Alcohol Classes” (if assigned) “Domestic Violence” and “GED Classes”. You will be given homework, and will be expected of you as part of the program. Failure to comply will result in write-up. Three write-ups will result in removal from class and may result in dismissal.


• 8:00 to 9:00 is class
• 9:00 to 10:00 class
• 10:00 to 11:00 Job Searching
• 11:00 to 12:00 lunch
• 12:00 to 1:00 Job Searching)
• 3:00 to 4:00 (reading or homework)
• 4:00 to 5:00 dinner
• 5:00 to 6:00 showers
• 7:00 to 8:00 (Bible studies)
• 8:00 to 9:30 free time T.V.


“Ladies, no food or snacks are allowed in rooms.

Medication is given at 8:00 p.m.

You must attend church; Wednesday Night prayer, Friday night revival, and Sunday morning services.

Visiting: Sat 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sun: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This is definitely a different take on the topic than other stories this week. You certainly were spot on the topic. You show how important it is to work together and even showed in the Bible where God encourages us to work together and have a proper attitude.

There were some punctuation errors that made it difficult to follow at times, especially with quotation marks.A good idea is to include some action and show the reader the personalities of the characters as they react to their assigned chores. That will help to draw the reader in.

I do think you picked some lovely scripture to go along with your idea. They seem to go along nicely with your intended message. Keep writing the words God places on your heart.
