He walked out on the sidewalk, near the US capitol, his hands were sweaty as he took his backpack, and set it on the ground. He opened it up and got out his tracts, zipped it back up and put it on shoulder. He bowed his head a said a silent prayer, "Lord please help me not to get arrested for sharing the gospel."
As people came toward him heading to the 4th of July concert, he held out a tract. "Sir, I have life saving information for you, please take it."
The man and looked at the tract and said, "No thanks," as he walked away.
About 10 minutes later four police officers walked up, "Hey sir, can I see your ID?"
Curtis hands shook as he fumbled through his wallet, and finally he found it and gave it to the officer.
The officer looked at his driver’s license, "Reverend Curtis, hmmm, it’s against the law to share the Christian gospel on the streets. “
"What do you mean?" As Curtis’s eye's rolled.
"The congress just changed the constitution last month. You're violating the constitution."
Curtis's face turned red and his veins in his forehead popped out, "Well, my Lord says that I need to preach the gospel!"
"Curtis Martin, you're under arrest." as the officer patted him down an slapped the hand cuff’s on him.
"You can't do this! What ever happened to the free speech?"
The officer's eyes glared, "Get into the car!"
"NO, you can't do this to me!"
The officer then shoved him into the car.

On March 5, 2019 the reverend Curtis Martin was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for sharing the gospel in the streets of Washington DC.
A reporter from WTCN Television came to the prison to interview him. "Curtis, did you know that what you were doing was unconstitutional?"
"Yes, I did."
"Why did you do it?"
Curtis smiled, "The Bible says to go and tell people about Jesus. I don't want people to go to hell."
"What do you think of the ruling?"
Curtis hook his head and looked down, "I was arrested on the forth of July, the day we celebrate our independence. Our forefathers fought and died for us to have the right of free speech and religion. They wanted this country to be a Christian nation. Recently congress and forty states made this change in our constitution. The intent was to shut down the proclamation of the gospel. I just morn for out nation because it was founded on Christian principals."
This was a fictional story of what could happen someday if we don’t turn back to God.
