God said we will be known by our fruit.
Which leads me to ponder on what Galations 5:22 has to say about the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy , peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control
are all aspects I want exhibited in my life. I strive to allow God to work these fruits into my daily experiences and dealing with those around me. Not a day should go by that we do not hunger for the fruit that only God can give us. Our souls should be like well watered gardens bursting forth with the most succulent apples, flavorful oranges, melons that make our mouths water, lemons that cause our lips to pucker and our tastbuds to dance! Spiritual fruit is long lasting, blessed, life changing, contagious, wanted by all, noticed by many, and should be one of the most important desires of our hearts.
Just as we are the apple of God's eye, so spiritual fruit is what our souls should long after and seek for tirelessly. Spiritual fruit is the food that satisfies all cravings and leaves no residue of hunger. It provides full gratifcation to all who taste and partake. This fruit cannot be hidden, therefore it nourishes others as it fills us completely, lighting the way for others to partake and be filled as well.
