Donna had this puzzled look on her face, "Did you just say Schmooze you?"
Paul looked confused, "Yes, what’s wrong. Doesn't that mean thank you?"
Donna yelled, "No! It means to kiss!"
"Ki...ss," Paul shook his head in disbelief.
"Kiss."
Paul's head just sunk, "I will never learn German before our mission trip."
Donna picked up her fork and cut a piece of her bratwurst, "Honey, you have a whole year. You just started to learn German a month ago"
Paul sighed as he swallowed his meat, "There is no hope."
Donna swallowed her bean's, "You have me as your teacher. I took German in high school and have spoken it ever since."
Paul smiled as he liked to make a joke out of everything, "You might as just well go on the trip without me. An old dog will never learn new tricks."
Donna raised her voice in disgust, "You're acting just plain stupid. You can learn. What you need to do is pray about it."
Paul laughed, "Prayer is not going to help an old fuddy-duddy like me."
Donna started to get angry, "Think about how many people you’re going to touch."
Paul smiled, "Touch nothing why would anyone want me to touch them?"
This made Donna angrier, "I didn't mean it like that."
Paul looked up into Donna's eyes, "Well, what did you mean?"
Donna took a breath and calmed down, "You can reach people with the love of Jesus Christ. These people need to hear about Jesus."
Paul sighed, "Okay, I will pray."
Donna smiled, "Good, that is a start the Lord will provide."
"I hope so," Paul got up and left the dinner table.
