White, to remind us of the purity of your Creator,
Whose love and goodness cover our transgressions,
Just as the snow covers the landscape and protects it.
Oh, Winter, how generously you wash the world
Clean, to remind us of the mercy of your Creator,
Whose great sacrifice cleansed us of our sins,
Just as the rains wash the land to make it fresh once more.
Oh, Winter, how softly and gently you hush the world
Still, to remind us of the quiet voice of your Creator,
Whose Spirit guides us and offers us peace,
Just as the silence creates serenity everywhere.
Oh, Winter, how reliably you give to the world
Promise, to remind us of the promise of your Creator,
Whose Son will come back to us at the appointed time,
Just as the snow always melts away in time for spring’s return…

Nicely written, and dropping the key word to the next line added a unique effect. Keen parallel to Scripture.
I liked this, especially the ending..."for spring's return." Maranatha!
