In the absence of the night light.
Tiny stars, obstructed from view,
As we approach the deepest night.
The brightest stars glimmer brighter,
Peaking through the ominous cloud.
The little beams of light appear,
As if they were shouting out loud;
Telling us that there’s always hope,
That sometimes, we may not see.
There’s always light behind the clouds,
Though dark, our own night may be.
When heavy clouds hang over our lives,
Our hearts often feel there’s no hope.
Look closely for the tiny beams!
This will surely help us to cope!
Jesus is the light of our life.
His sweet presence is always there.
He urges us to come to Him;
We can always reach Him in prayer!
The light will become much brighter,
The clouds seem to disappear!
It seems we hear His loving voice,
“Child, have faith, I am always here.”
