Oh, how awful! What a dilemma!
You described the emotional stress very well, but I'm not sure how he could actually fight against his own side.
Is this based on a true story, or completely fiction?
Well written.

If your purpose was to make the reader think, you succeeded. Good for you!
Good work.

I only wish it had been a bit longer.

May God bless,
Sincerely,
Dan Blankenship

This is incredible! What a dilemma and how well written!
It took us there through it all.
Wow. This one pulls at the heartstrings. You really put me into this young soldier's head. My heart breaks for him and yet I'm proud that he stood up and did what he felt right, even knowing he'd be seen as a traitor. I hope he survived. And that he got to deliver his letter in person.

Wonderful!
