[Eph. 4:7-10; Acts. 2:1-20]
Saint Lamb staggered in blood-stained, with pierced hands and feet, a bruised brow and a bleeding side. He had previously fought on the Garden-plain, Calvary-hill, and Hades-depths in order to deliver many held captive by the Dragon and her hordes of crawling things. He had the captives cleaned with a red liquid potion and renewed them with a pure Life-giving water, both which he got from his opened side.
Reverend Father stepped down from his fiery throne and passionately embraced him, and with rivulets of tears, warmly kissed him. Every single heart was pleased. A strong, sweet-smelling atmosphere pervades the entire kingdom. A lot of joyous singing and rich music. A welcome theme. Celebration indeed!
Sweet Spirit was invited to present the gifts (actually, a Gift--same Content--in varied wrappings) to the billions of freed captives in the waiting hall. Each man was given, at least , a gift.
The gifts! Oh, how flamboyant! Each neatly dressed in a unique, highly decorated wrapping bearing diverse inscriptions and images--rushing mighty wind, tongues of fire, wonders in heaven, signs on earth, blood, fire, vapor of smoke, pitch-black sun, blood-red moon, and so on-- all simply mesmerizing! Everyone was adequately captivated, yet there was more to come!
Sweet Spirit finished distributing the gifts, went to the podium and (accompanied by golden harps in the background), sang a spiritual song, strongly yet sweetly, with such pure, strange notes ringing through the still air.
Gifts of the Spirit
Free, none can merit
Different wrapping--
Sounds and feelings
Sights, all sense-appealing
But… the One-content
The Bread of Life
Hidden, yet very potent
To supply, to edify
Wrappings draw men
Content, to feed them
Only the Content, the Gift
And I dare to say
Afterwards, the wrappings
Reverently cast away.
Let him that has ears
Hear what the Spirit sings!
Thereafter, all were sent away… .
Many took only the attractive wrappings and … death! Few ate the Hidden Manna (and were spontaneously clothed with the wrappings), attracting the lost, themselves living and giving Life everywhere, to everyone! And yet a few others, neither!
I love the second. And God does too!

One tiny slip-up in tense usage in the 2nd paragraph...nothing to worry about; this entry is awesome.
