Sometimes it’s possible for a child to have more that one mother.
There’s the one who gave birth to him but there could be another.
Sometimes the Birth Mother feels like she has nothing to give.
So the child is placed with someone else, to go there and to live.
Some people may look at the Birth Mother and tend to criticize.
But we shouldn’t judge her since we can’t see life through her eyes.
She just wants what she thinks is best for this child of hers.
There are many good families wanting a baby out there in the world.
There is another situation that could possibly arise.
A single mother who must work all day just to survive.
A family member may step in and watch the child all day.
But then the mother marries and plans to move away.
The child can become frightened and not know what to do.
Of course he loves his “mother” but he loves the “other” too.
I stayed with my grandmother when this situation happened to me.
I loved them both with all my heart, though my mother I would seldom see.
If you have an Adoptive Mother and your Birth Mother you have now found
Or you lived with your grandmother cause your mother wasn’t able to be around
As Mother’s Day approaches, you may have more than one card to mail.
Don’t forget your “mother” but remember the “other mother” without fail.
